Hey everyone, time for our regular update on all things AI and Games. It’s been a bit of a ‘quiet’, yet busy month here on my end. I’m currently working away on numerous video projects, all the while client work is building up once again.
A couple of small things that have been announced which I can share:
I’m returning once again as a speaker at the Summer School on AI for Games, which takes place in Malta in June. That’s now finalised and I’m going to have to start thinking about what I’m doing while I’m there.

I’ll be speaking at the London Developer Conference in April about the state of AI tools in the games industry.
Plus the new AI book Game AI Uncovered is out now, which I contributed a chapter towards. You can get 20% off with code SMA21 until April 30th at the publishers site.
But right now I’m finalising two new client projects, and I have another couple of speaking engagements which I can hopefully announce soon.
New and Recent Content
A quick summary of the recent updates on all the AI and Games platforms. As discussed recently, I’m trying to get in the habit of doing weekly content drops, be it revisiting old topics, discussing industry news, podcast episodes and of course, the main content on the AI and Games YouTube channel.
Branching Factor Podcast:
#013 with George and I discussing games industry for 2024
#014 where I have a more chill session discussing games and the news.
#015 with Ben Ridge as we discuss his career in sound design and composing for games.
Blog Posts: Here are some written versions of episodes that I am putting back out in the wild, given they were lost at some point when my old website went down. Spec Ops: The Line, and Goldeneye 007.
